MASTER STYLIST
Markeiel is a celebrity, seasoned, and second-generation hairstylist and makeup artist. Beauty is his passion! Markeiel says, “Customer service is the first step to being a stylist, it starts with greeting your client with a big smile as they enter the salon, followed by an amazing shampoo. Hair starts at the shampoo bowl”! Markeiel is a Vidal Sassoon-trained graduate hairstylist along with being a creative makeup artist as well. Markeiel says “haircare is the most important element of hair-it’s like a plant that needs to be nourished and watered” whereby he demonstrates through an amazing conditioning treatment. Followed by a custom color that is selected by looking at the underlining pigments of the clients' skin tone, which is blended to the client’s desire. Alongside color, Markeiel says “hair would not be complete without an amazing cut”, he describes cutting hair like a piece of fabric that needs to be tailored and customized to the clients' satisfaction. Lastly, it is finished off with a thermal process to seal the cuticle of the hair using elements of natural products to enhance texture, movement, and shine. As for make up, he approaches it as if he is painting and polishing a canvas using an artistic application of makeup. Bringing the entire look together based upon client’s individualized vision.
